For this special collaboration with 66 North, we design a unique dark patina applied by hand with fire. The inspiration came from the colors of the Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach in Iceland and created a very elegant representation of the bottle on the metal piece. The edition number is written by hand in bright red, a color that comes from the brand’s fisherman tradition. This philosophy of sustainability and durability is brought out by the wine. In fact, over time, the wine also evolves, expressing more unique and exciting characteristics every year. Each bottle is unique, with a combination of wine and a base that takes on different shades, making Katkoot Amarone for 66 N an exclusive piece. In addition to being the physical manifestation of this exclusive bottle, the design object has been created to be reused after consumption so as to become a physical memory of the Katkoot universe.
